Apple extended its Apple Music service on Android as promised. Apple launched Apple Music during its WWDC conference this year with OS X, Windows, iOS and Android as the supported platform. Apple also offered a 3 month free trial for users to try out the service before purchasing a subscription.
Apple Music has over 30 million users with more joining in. Apple Music directly competes with Google Play Music and Spotify music services with similarly priced subscription options.
Apple offers a family membership plan for up to 6 members for $14.99/month along with the personal subscription option for $9.99/month.
With the launch of the app on Android, more users are expected to join Apple Music which offers the option to Connect with artists apart from surfing and listening to songs from over 30 million artists. Apple Music also features a reasonably user-friendly interface and is available for OS X, iOS and Windows as well.
