With the launch of Windows 10, Microsoft brought in a slew of major and minor design changes and tweaks to produce the ultimate Windows experience. Those already running on Windows 7 or later, are eligible for a free upgrade but for those looking to install Windows 10 on a system older than Windows 7, a brand new system, a virtual machine or on a Mac would require an iso file in order to do so.

To begin, you must head over to Microsoft’s website to get the official Windows 10 iso and follow these steps.

First, Choose ‘Windows 10’ under ‘Select an Edition’. This applies if your looking for Windows 10 Home or Pro versions and select ‘Confirm’.

Select 'Windows 10'
Select ‘Windows 10’

Next, select your preferred language for the OS.

And your iso file should begin downloading. Remember that you can use Windows 10 for free for 30 days after which you would have to purchase a license for $120 for Windows 10 Home edition.
