Despite it being a media creation tool, it forces Windows 10 installation without any external media. Once downloaded, run the file on your computer. You should be able to see the following window:
Select ‘Upgrade this PC now’ and ‘next’. It will begin downloading Windows 10. Remember to make sure that you meet the minimum requirements for installation and that you have sufficient memory (minimum of 3GB for download) to proceed. After completion of download, it will verify the download and create the installation data.
Once it completes, the Windows 10 installation wizard will begin which will perform a series of checks to make sure your system is compatible, will prompt you to confirm an agreement and will ask you if you want to keep your files or create a completely new installation. From here on, Windows 10 will begin installation. Just sit back and relax!
